Sara’s third album ‘Firefly’ heralds the emergence of a more mature songwriter and reflects her changing environment. Whilst she no longer lives in the outback or country Australia, her powers of observation have sharpened and her yearning for contact with her friends, family and characters from the country has grown even stronger. Amongst the self-penned tracks is the beautifully crafted first single ‘Firefly’. Sara’s long-time musical influence Paul Kelly (2), dropped by to perform a duet on a song and The Waifs’ renowned guitarist, Josh Cunningham, not only provided a song ‘Important Things’ on which he dueted but also played guitar on a number of tracks. And her brother Greg Storer, has written the delightful song ‘Billabong’ and performs on ‘Chiller’s Bend’ too.
