Out of the BUMBLIES came the Merseybeat group the CRYIN SHAMES and a hit record PLEASE STAY which reached #26 in the UK charts in March 1966. This was the group that recorded the tracks on side two for French TV a couple of months later, but broke up in the summer of the same year. This lineup went into the BBC studios in September 1966 to cut the tracks on Side One. And here they are for the first time in fifty years!
