Making his debut in the early 90’s, Paddy’s early performances mixed spoken word, acoustic guitars and his
alternately whispery and soaring vocals with his often bizarre, darkly comic lyrics, rich imagery of childhood
friendships gone bad, suburban sub-cultures and strange, fringe characters. These early songs comprised
Paddy’s acclaimed debut release ‘Rusting With The Chrome Boys’ (1994). Building his live act to a full fivepiece
band, Paddy performed solidly throughout 95-96 supporting artists such as Tiddas, Cowboy Junkies,
