In 2023 Pablo van de Poel attended the Dutch Grammy award ceremony (Edison Prijs) and he was quite shocked by the music he heard there. Auto-tuned, quantized, polished plastic music, stripped from all its human idiosyncrasies, natural rawness and beautiful imperfections. A rage started growing inside: the unstoppable urge to create something powerful, raw, imperfect and loud. So he contacted his studio neighbour/guitarist Yves Lennertz and said lets start a punk band called PREGO! Yves said hell yes and together with Grand East frontman Arthur Akkermans and drummer Lenno van Galen they recorded 5 electrifying original songs.
