A year after we finished our Eccentric Soul: The Bandit Label comp, a Chicago collector brought to our door a heretofore unknown 45 on Arrow Brown’s increasingly mysterious imprint. Only two copies are known of the Michigan Avenue Sound Orchestra’s retardedly funky instrumental “Poon Tang Thump Parts 1 & 2,” and it was crushing us not to have them available. Finally, Bandit completists can get some sleep!
