Two years after the release of ‘Ten Stones’ (2008), which was celebrated by fans and critics alike, Wovenhand and the Glitterhouse label decided to join forces again. The first result was the album ‘The Threshingfloor’.

On their sixth album, Wovenhand push forward into new territories as David Eugene Edwards unleashes a passionate swirl that is stirring and deeply spiritual. His unmistakable voice, his powerful banjo playing and the spirited support of Pascal Humbert (bass) and Ordy Garrison (drums) make ‘The Threshingfloor’ a breathtaking experience. As in the days of his former band 16 Horsepower, Edwards surprises us once again with a cover version: ‘Trust’ from New Order’s debut album ‘Movement’ becomes a manic, intense thunderstorm of song and sound on ‘The Threshingfloor’ that leaves the listener breathless.
